The Stamp Act was a tax that was placed on some paper goods. To show that the tax had been payed for, they would stamp a stamp on your item. Riots, protests, boycott, tarring and feathering of stamp agents, and the formation of the Sons of Liberty were all things that occurred or that were created while this act happened. When fighting among British Soldiers and Colonists broke out, the colonists threw many harmful things at the soldiers to the point that shots began firing into the crowd. 5 of the colonists were dead.
