    After the acquisition of the French in North America Great Britain wanted to fix their New North American Empire and fix relations with Native Americans through steady of trade, settlement, and land purchase in the west.

    The Sugar Act was when the british put taxes on important things such as sugar and wine because they wanted more money. They wanted money to provide security for the colonies. The British hoped the act would force colonists to give their goods to Britain and to not sell them to other colonies. This act angered the people in the colonies. Because if they traded with Britain they wouldnt sell their goods for much money. Also they lost money.

    The Currency Act is when the British prohibited the colonies from making their own money and forcing them to use english currency. This act made many colonists mad. They protested and also suffered a trade scarcity with Great Britain.

    The Stamp Act was passed by the British Parliament on March 22, 1765. The new tax was forced on all American colonists and needed them to pay taxes on every printed paper they used. This angered colonists and led to other revolutionists like the "Sons of Liberty" and others.

And under the law the colonists basically had to take care of the soldiers. This brought tensions between he british and the colonist.

    The stamp act congress was when representatives from the nine colonists met in New York and made a petition to the King and Parliament stating that the colonies couldn't be taxed exept from their assemblies.

    The Parliament revoked the Sugar Act because boycotts were destroying British trade so they used the declaration to justify the repeal. The declaration showed that the Parliament's authority was the same in America as in Britain and maintained the Parliament's authority to pass laws that were essential on the American colonies.

    The Townshend Acts were acts passed in 1767 by the Parliament of Great Britain relating to the British colonies in North America.Merchants from Boston adopted a non-importation agreement in 1768, vowing not to import certain articles rather than pay the duties. The other colonies protested to New York's support by threatening to resist all taxes imposed by the Parliament.
