    The British wanted to reduce the amount of tea in their warehouses. They lowered the price of their tea so people would buy theirs's and not the illegal smuggled tea.

    The colonists didn't want to be taxed on their tea. So, the Sons of Liberty went and dumped a lot of tea into the Boston Harbor.

    The British needed to punish the Massachusetts colonists for the Boston Tea Party. They made it so that soldiers couldn't enter and stay in your house.

    Leaders from every colony except Georgia met to discuss what to do. They decided on how to respond to the British.
