Began in 1754 and ended in 1763. The was in a North American larger imperial war between Great Britain and France called the Seven Years' war.

The Sugar Act

This act was made by Britan and was to stop the sugar and molasses trade from the French.

Stamp Act of 1766

This act was made by Britain and raised taxes. They raised these taxes to help pay for the British army.

Townshend Acts of 1767

These where act passed by Brittan that raised goods sent to the American Colonies. But the Americans see this as abuse.

The Boston Massacre

The Boston Massacre was a confrontation. British soldiers shot and killed people while being horded by mobs.

Tea Act

May 10, 1773

The British passed this act to save the enterprise. The act allowed tea companies to ship the tea to the Americans without landing it first.

Boston Tea Party

This was an American protest against the British. They did this to stop all the taxes that the British where giving them.

Intolerable Acts

These were laws passed by the British after the Boston Tea Party. These laws would punish people who standed for the Boston Tea Party.

1st Continental Congress

In this Congress they talked about boycotting the British. It was compromised by delegates.
