    How is this a cause that led to war?The French and Indian ended in 1763 with the Treaty of Paris.Great Britain gained a lot of territory in North America.The English Army and later the British Army needed to deploy militia units.There were a lot of frontier policies and paying the war’s expenses led to colonial discontent,led to the American Revolution.

    How is this a cause that led to war?: King George III wanted more dominance in the New World he issued the royal proclamation which established Quebec, West Florida and East Florida.

    How did it affect the colonists The parliament passed the act to raise money for the depleted British treasury and to reduce the colonist’s smuggling sugar and molasses to avoid tariffs. The sugar act decreased the tax on British sugar and molasses. It also increased the anti-smuggling laws.
    How is this a cause that led to war?: The British reduced the rate by half and increased measures to enforce the tax, hoping that the tax would actually be collected.

    How is this a cause that led to war?: The Stamp Act was a direct tax on the colonists which led to an uproar in America. The British parliament would put taxation without representation. The colonists greeted the arrival of the stamps with violence and economic retaliation which was a major cause of the American Revolution.

    How did it affect the colonists? The quartering Act of 1765 required the colonies to house British soldiers in barracks provided by the colonies. Some of the barracks that the colonies provided were too small to house all the soldiers. The soldiers would get relocated.
    How is this a cause that led to war?: American Colonists resented and opposed the Quartering Act of 1765, because they were being taxed to pay for provisions and barracks for the army.

    How is this a cause that led to war? It started as a minor fight then became a turning point in the American Revolution. Loyalists wanted peaceful protests but that didn't happen in this battle.

    What happened and why: The Sons of Liberty and rebel colonists were sick of the British violating their rights and putting taxation without representation.
    Outcome/effect: the Boston Tea Party was the Boston Port Act which was a result of the Boston Tea Party, the British shut down the Boston Harbor until all 340 chests of tea were paid for.
