  • End of the War

    In 1763 the French and Indian war ended and the British government was interested in ending the war. The war was too expensive snd so the Britain would gain all the French territory east of the Missipi.
  • Pontiac´s Reb

    The Pontiac´s Reb started in May 1763 and the fronteir forks attcked. The Rebellion was led by Ottawan who was the leader and was called Pontiac.
  • Proclamation

    The British parliamnet announces that no settlements could take place West of the Applachain mountains and the proclamation, (the line) was divided in two lands.

    It had tax on sugur (malasses), wine and coffee and it already had malsses tax and it started in 1733 and the sugur was half malassess tax but colonists refused to
  • Stamp Act

    Th tax was very direct and the stamp act (documents) were illegal and they always needed a stamp.
  • Quatering Act

    Colonists needed to supply the British troops with the living quarters, (bedding, food, beer, cider and rum.)
  • Virginia Resolves

    The Virginia house of Burgesslaves passed Virginia and it denied that Parliament´s rights was to tax the colonists under the stamp act.

    The congress sends a letter to the governemnt petitioning the tax and the meetings are inspired. A number of protests and they refuse to pay the taxes and even atack the tax collecters.
