The Proclamation of 1763 was made to conciliate the Indians by checking the encroachment of settlers on their lands.

The Stamp Act was the first internal tax levied directly on American colonists by the British government.
It helped lead to revolution because it was one of the first acts of rebillion of the people. -
Townshend Act
The Townshend Act constituted an attempt by the British government to consolidate fiscal and political power over the American colonies by placing import taxes on many of the British products bought by Americans, including lead, paper, paint, glass and tea
This lead to revolution because American's weren't okay with this Act so they went against it. -
Boston Massacre
The Boston Massacre was when towns people in Boston starting taunting armed British soldiers and it made the soldiers mad so they shot at them and killed innocent people.
It lead to revolution because people weren't okay with the British just killing people whenever they wanted to. -
Tea Act
The Tea Act was a bill designed to save the faltering East India Company from bankruptcy by greatly lowering the tea tax it paid to the British government.
This lead to revolution because it didn't make the American's happy so they fought against it. -
Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea Party was when the American's threw tea into the ocean because they didn't want to pay the taxes to Britian.
This lead to revolution because it showed Britian that we don't need them as much as they need us. -
Intolerable Acts
The Intolerable Acts were what the British made to try and get a better grasp of the American colonists.
This lead to revolution because the American's got mad at the British so we fought against there power, -

The battles of Lexington and Concord kicked off the beginning of the American Revolution.
This lead to revolution because it started the battle towards freedom for America. -
Declaration of Independence
The Delcaration of Independence was when America was finally freed from Britian and they were able to become their own country. The Declaration of Independence was the paper the people made to tell Britian that they were their own country and they don't need them.
It lead to revolution because it was what made America it's own country.
