  • The French and Indian war

    This was the war started in 1754. This was the war between the British America against France. Both of the sides had a military and Indian allies.

  • The Proclamation of 1763

    This war took place in 1763. The British declared this war at the end of the The French and Indian war. This proclamation was made to appease the Native Americans.

  • The Sugar Act

    This act took place in 1764. The act declared that the regulations should improve the new kingdom.

  • Stamp Act of 1766

    This act stated that the British would tax the British American colonies the same. It was declared in 1766

  • Townshend Acts of 1767

    In 1767 the Townshend act was put in place. This act is a combination of acts including he Revenue Act of 1767, Indemnity Act, and Commissioners of Customs Act.

  • The Boston Massacre

    The Boston massacre was a riot. This ended up being very deadly and many died.

  • Tea Act

    This was an act held by the British colonies. It goal was to reduce the number of illegal tea being shipped.

  • Boston Tea Party

    When the British were trading tea by boat, some colonist wanted to do something about it. Thy dresses up as native American's and dumped the tea into the ocean.

  • Intolerable Acts

    The Intolerable Acts were law passed by the British parliament. This happened after the Boston tea party.

  • 1st Continental Congress

    This was a meting held by 12 delegates form the 13 colonies. They would soon become the untied states!
