Stamp Act

The stamp act was an act created to pay for the cost of war between Great Britain and France. This act made colonist pay taxed on all printed items such as news papers,magazines, playing cards. etc... and a stamp was placed on them to indicate it had been paid for.

Quartering Act

This was an act where parliment ordered local governments of the American colonies to give the British soldiers a home and any accomodations if they needed it.
