Battle of Lexington was the 1st battle of American Revolutionary War. Later on a famous author describe the first shot "shot heard round the world" - Ralph Waldo Emerson. It was considered a British Victory. In the Battle of Concord Americans stop the British and force them to retreat back to Boston. It was considered a American Victory.
