  • The French and Indian War

    It was a war between the French and British. It took 9 years. The reason why it was named the French and Indian war was because each side was supported by different Native American tribes.
  • Royal Proclamation of 1763

    The Royal Proclamation of 1763 was issued by King George the 3rd. It was followed by the Treaty of Paris and the Seven Year War. It transferred the all French Settlements so they belonged to Great Britain.
  • The Sugar Act

    It was caused by a legislation to stop smuggling of molasses and sugar from France and the Dutch.
  • The Stamp Act

    The Stamp Act was a act caused by the British Government they were going into debt. So any stamped paper prices were doubled.
  • Townshend Act

    The Townshend Act was that all taxed goods were imported to the American Colonies but the American settlers were upset because they didn't have any part in the Parliament.
  • Boston Massacre

    It was a event in which British soldiers was massacre in which people got killed for being harassed while a mob in Boston. In this event, 5 colonists got killed.
  • Tea Act

    This act was caused by the troubled British East India Company was running out of money in the price of illegal tea.
  • Boston Tea Party

    This was a American Political Protest a group of people dressed in Native American clothing and through barrels of tea into the ocean.
  • Intolerable Acts

    This was a law that was past down by the Parliament to punish Massachusetts colonists who participated in the Boston Tea Party.
  • The 1st Continental Congress

    This was the first meeting of delegates from the New England Colonies that soon became the United States of America
