First Continental Congress
The first continental congress was a meeting of delegates from 12 of the 13 British colonies, that met to deal with the intolerable acts. Georgia was the only one that did not send a representative to the congress. they agreed to boycott the British. -
Second Continental congress meet
printing money with post office setup. They sent olive Branches asking the king to protect their rights.
-for that the king hired 30,000 Hessian Soldiers in response
created a continental army led by george washington. -
Washington arrives on outskirts of Boston
