  • Proclamation of 1763

    The Proclamation of 1763 was an act that closed off the fronteir to colonial expansion. This land included the rich valley of ohio. This is importand to the road to the revalotion because many colonist would go there any way symbolising rebelious.
  • Sugar act of 1764

    The Sugar Act, or the Revenue Act of 1764, was the first tax that was imposed on the American colonies. The colonist had to pay a tax of six pence per gallon onforeign molasses or sugar. The colonist would steal sugar of british ships and start to form rebellions. This was the early stages of a army for the colonist
  • Currency act of 1764

    The act banned the use of paper money in all colonies. In passing this the British government was attempting to have a greater amount of control over the individual colonies by declaring this act. Colonist would use counterfit against the british to show them that the currancy act was too much.

    The quartering act required the colonies to provide barracks and supplies to British troops. Therefor the colonist had to provide quarters, food, and transportation to the British soldiers. The colonist would try to give british wooden coins. This was one of many steps of revolotion toward the british

  • Stamp act of 1765

    during the stamp act all printed materials and commercial documents as well as printed material including, newspapers, pamphlets, bills, legal documents, licenses, almanacs, dice and playing cards, were taxed and had to carry a special stamp.
  • Decalatory act of 1766

    With the repeal of the stamp act the british passed another act called the decalatory act. It stated that the taxing authority was the same in America as in Great Britain which is huge because great britian had a ton of taxes. This showed that the british fought back and would continue to. This is forshadowing war between the two

    It was an act that put tax on Taxes on glass, paint, oil, lead, paper, and tea. This was one of the biggest act the british put on making the colonist extreamly angry. This is one of many acts that set the colonist on edge to fight against the british
