The French and Indian war was a war in which Great Britain and their Indian allies fought the French and their Indian allies. The war lasted 9 years, it was fought because the French and Britain both wanted to have the most land and be the powerhouse in America. During the war the Indians became worried they were going to lose their land.

The Proclamation of 1763 was issued by Britain at the end of the French and Indian war. It was made so the native Americans can have their land. The settlers were not allowed to colonize west of Appalachian mountains. The settlers did not like this they thought Britain was trying to keep a strong hold on them and control them.

The leaders of each of the 13 colonies met in Philadelphia except for Georgia which was fighting a war and needed British supply's. They basically said they were going to boycott December 1st if they don't get rid of the Intolerable acts.

Intolerable acts were acts mad by the British that were intended to punish the people that did the Boston tea party. This was something that caused a huge outbreak and led to the Revolutionary war.
