    Sundiata built and empire, with tons of gold and iron. He died and Mansa Musa became Emperor of Sundiata's Empire.

    The Wealth

    Mali was so a rich gold town, gold was everywhere, so much so that when Mans Musa went to Hajj once, he gave away gold, good right? Until he broke gold's value. Gold was worth less!

    The Fall

    After Mansa Musa's death his son, Maghan took over. He was a weak ruler as raiders always got the victory.
