Lexington and Concord was the main event leading up to the American Revolutionary war on Apr 19, 1775. The rebel army went from Boston to capture Samuel Adams and John Hancock. This is important because the ¨shot heard around the world¨ is what started the American War of Independence. -

The continental army in Valley Forge was more capable of defeating the British and American Independence during the time that they had left. Because of Valley Forge, the American forces became really strong and capable of winning multiple wars. -
Yorktown
Due to the outcome of Yorktown, Virginia concluded the last battle of the American Revolution. It also increased Washington's reputation, leading him to becoming the first president of the United States. -
Treaty of Paris
The treaty of Paris was signed by the US and the British, ending the American Revolution on Sep 3, 1783. Due to this, the US was granted western territory. Due to this treaty, a lot of wars stopped.
