  • Paul Revere's Ride

    Paul Revere was sent to Concord when he became suspicious of the British coming. So he went to Concord the night before and warned all the colonist that the British where coming. The next day there was the battle on Lexington and Concord the British won the battle in Lexington and the Americans won the battle in Concord.

    1775 the battle of Lexington and Concord, MA was held. The British won the battle in Lexington and the Americans won the battle in Concord. So it was a half and half battle because they both won a war.

    The British beat the Americans in the battle of Charleston. The Americans suffered the worst defeat ever. The British lieutenant had 10,000 British troops in Charleston

    The Americans beat the British in the battle of Yorktown. The Americans won this battle because they had 17,000 troops and the British only had 9,000 troops so the Americans beat the British in the battle of Yorktown.

    The British captured the city of Savannah, Georgia. The British launched a surprise attack on the Americans defending Savannah, Georgia.

  • The Treaty of Paris

    The war ended with the treaty of Paris. Great Britain agreed to give the Americans a good amount of land and call the United States an independent country.
