Thbe French and Indian war was when the French, English and the Native Americans were all fighting for Ohio valley to own. The English were one of the most powerful countrys in the world and the 13 colonies wanted there own clononys and it cause friction between the 2. England raised taxes. -
Provlomation of 1763
N ew law was created that stated that knowone could settle past the appilation mountains and who ever was there had to leave. This was so the Natives and the Settlers could avoid a war between the Indians and settelers for land. -

The Stamp act
The stamp act was taxes put on to documents that needed to be stamped. For example, a divorce, buying land or a newspaper would cost more because of the tax. The British did this because they were in debt so they needed to money from taxes. -
Townshed acts
The townsed act was a tax that English products had. For example, glass, paint, paper, lead, tea. The colonist did not like this. there were rioats and boycotts. Eventually the act stopped after the Boston Massacurre -
Boston Massacure
The Massacure was started by the quarting act. Citezens surrounded the town hall and vilontly protested. John Adams took gaurds to trial to show England that he belived in justice.
