  • Treaty of peace

    Japan and India signed a peace treaty and established diplomatic relations .This treaty was one of the first peace treaties Japan signed after the World War II.
  • Israeli foreign minister Moshe Sharett visits India

    When the Israeli armed forces pushed into Egypt toward the Suez Canal after Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser nationalized the canal in July of that same year, initiating the Suez Crisis. India was one of the mediators along with the US, the UK and Yugoslavia.
  • Israel help India

    During the Indo-China war, Israel provided war equipment to India. Apart from this during the Kargil war, Israel again provided military equipment to India.
  • PM Manamohan Singh visit Japan

    issued "the Joint Declaration on Security Cooperation .There are also various frameworks of security and defense dialogue between Japan and India including “2+2” Dialogue, Defense Policy Dialogue, Military-to-Military Talks and Coast Guard-to-Coast Guard cooperation.
  • Visit of Modi to Japan

    Prime Minister Modi paid an official visit to Japan and had a summit meeting with Prime Minister Abe. Prime Minister Abe stated that this summit meeting was a magnificent meeting that substantially advanced the "new era in Japan-India relations," and he hoped the two countries would lead the prosperity and stability of the Indo-Pacific region as a result of coordinating the "Free and Open India and Pacific Strategy" and the "Act East" policy.
