    Ji-Li was offered to go to an audition to be a part of a dancing comittee for the Red Guards, but her father told her no because he was worried.
  • Destroying The Four Olds

    At this point in time Ji-Li and the others at her school were trying to destroy the Four Olds, which is a term for old books, pictures, outfits, and customs.
  • Da-Zi-Bao's were written

    Students began writing Da-Zi-Bao's, or posters critiquing others character, about their teachers. Ji-Li did not write one.
  • Da-Zi-Bao written about Ji-Li

    There was a Da-Zi-Bao written about Ji-Li by her classmates, saying that she was having an affair with the teacher, she was very upset about this.
  • The Red Successors were nominated

    The Red Successors were nominated and voted by students, Ji-Li was nominated but another student claimed that her father was a rightest and that her grandfather was a landlord.
  • Ji-Li's behavior meeting

    Ji-Li was told by the Red Successors that she was Four-Olds and disrespectful. She broke down and was embarrassed.
  • The Students Graduated

    Ji-Li and her classmates graduated and Ji-Li prayed that she was going to go to a school she wanted to go to, but she was told the teachers nominated them. She was supposed to go to the school of her dreams but the rules changed again and she was disappointed.
  • Ji-Li re-enters school

    Ji-Li and her classmates all went back to school, she was glad that she had no classes with the students who bullied her before, in fact she did not know anyone.
  • Ji-Li turns down the propaganda group

    Ji-Li is offered the chance to join a propaganda group, but in fear of being told that she is wrong and getting bullied again she denies it, heading home.
