I loved to read the Bernstain bears books as well as the just a little critter collection books. I remember my mom would read these to me before bed.

I loved to read the Junie B Jones books. My dad hated them because she would use improper grammar in the books to make it seem like a diary of a second grader.

In third grade the stick dog books became very popular. They remind me of diary of a wimpy kid but with dogs.

I started to read a little harder books and I did not understand all of the words but I loved the series of unfortunate events. My older brother and I would watch the movie all the time so I knew I would like the books.

At this time I had chose to read miss perigrines home for peculiar children for my sixth grade reading project. I did not like it at first but I ended up reading three more that came after the first book.

I also started to finish the Land of stories series.

I read the outsiders twice, once in 6th grade and once in 7th grade. I really enjoyed this book and the movie adaption was good as well.

In seventh grade I started to read The School for good and evil as well as the fifth wave series. I finished the fifth wave series in this year. Author: Rick Tracey

I finished the school for good and evil and really enjoyed the series I was not happy when I realized that the next book was not scheduled to come out for a couple more years.

I started reading a little higher level of young adult books, the first book that I read was the Red Queen I really enjoyed it. Author Victoria Aveyard.

In my english nine class we read A glass castle and I read paper towns on my own. I enjoyed both books but I did not love the ending of paper towns. I learned that I enjoy John Greens books a lot. Author Jeanette Walls

In my english ten class this year we read, turtles all the way down and I absolutely loved it, and then we read fahrenheit 451 and I did not like it at all.

In 11th grade a chose to take young adult literature, we read forgive me Leonard Peacock. It was the first book that had such a heavy topic and each chapter left me thinking so much about life.

For my second semester in 10th grade I took a Marginalized voices class where we read the hate you give, and on my own I read Aristotle and Dante discover the secrets of the universe. Both of these books added to my love for reading with the way that the stories were told!

My senior year of high school I did not have a traditional english class so all of my reading was done on my own. I read all three of the divergent books as well as the second book in the Red Queen series which is called Glass Sword. They are both dystopian books which i have noticed has become one of my favorite types of books.

I also was enrolled in a cadet teaching course in my senior year. I was placed in a 3rd grade classroom and I loved it sooo much. I was there every other day for two hours which meant I was there during math and reading I became in charge of reading the holes book to them for thirty minutes every other day.

I got a poetry book called I would leave me if I could its written by Ashley Frangipane. She is able to express so much emotion in each poem that I truly could understand and relate to what she was saying. I had never read poetry before besides in school and I really enjoyed it. I want to try more poetry in my future.

I started reading the children of blood and bone By Tomi Adeyemi and i never finished it. This was the first book that I never actually finished.I got about half way through and just could not get into it enough to finish it.

I have started to read the Twilight series! I have finished the first book and I have just started the second book. I have found that I enjoy the books more than the movies
