Teachers embrace their evolving role given student access to technology and RCSD revises the job description and title of teacher to be "Learning Coach". -

Learning Coaches check for student understanding in real time
All Learning Coaches (formerly known as Teachers) have a deep understanding of Common Core Standard Essentials across grade span and subject and use technology tools to track ongoing formative assesments and coach students in real time. They know their students well because they have been working (teaching/learning) over a period of years.
