    #2The World Influencing Army's formation part 1
The Continental army forming was one of the most significant events of the revolution, because it was a big challenge, but essential to form an army to face the British army. It was a big turning point, because many men were willing to fight the British despite the strength of the British army. George Washington was chosen to be the leader of the Continental army after being nominated by John Adams.

George Washington was chosen, because of his leadership skills and his ability to unite the men from each colony. The Continental army was formed on June 14, 1775. This was an important turning point, also because it was the start of the American Revolution and a big step forward for the Americans who were at one point not even sure if this revolution was even worth it.

(3.) Times That Try Men's Souls Pt. 1
The Crisis, a pamphlet written by Thomas Paine, was one of the most significant works from the American Revolution because without it, the Patriots would’ve given up their cause for good and America probably wouldn’t be America today. Before The Crisis was written, it almost looked like Britain had already won the war, due to Washington’s retreat from Brooklyn, New York in August 1776 (Washington’s troops were less in numbers and experience compared to the British to defend the city).

The Americans left Brooklyn with almost no hope or spirit that British General Howe assumed the British had won the war and began to offer pardons for rebels. But The Crisis, written in the end of 1776, transformed the hopeless soldiers into soldiers filled with spirit and a new energy radiating for the American cause; they refused to “shrink from the service of their country”.

This lead to a big victory in Trenton for the Patriots, which showed the world that America would not give up and still had a chance for victory in the war.

    4. The Battle of Refreshing Hope
The events at Battle of Saratoga were one of the most important battles during the American Revolution because after this event, the France and Spain became allies with the States. When Burogyne’s troops reached Saratoga Springs on the Hudson River, the rebels there fought against them. Gentleman Johnny accepted defeat on October 17, 1777. The Americas showed that they could fight the British army and had a chance of winning.

France and Spain noticed this and helped America by sending in armies, money, and weapons when they were desperate of these supplies. They all became allies. I believe this is a really important event because without the help from France and Spain, the Continental Army would have gone hungry, broke, and no weapons.
