AVID teaches students a variety of organization and study skills to help them be successful in school and their future careers. This is one necessary tool to give all of our students and teachers a clear and positive culture. -
The Arts are incorporated into all subjects
Through programs such as TEAL, visual and performing arts instruction are incorporated throughout all content areas. -
Fully one-to-one electronic devices for students
Every student will have a device that they can utilize in the classroom and are able to use it for a variety of classroom activities. -
Project Based Learning is the emphasis
Through programs such as Project Lead The Way classes will consistently engage in a variety of hands-on, inquiry-based projects that allwo them to explore information in a new and innovative way. -
Primarily paperless classrooms
With the regular use of technologies like Google Classroom and using manipulatives to demonstate knowledge, paper will be minimally used on campus. -
Flipped Classes
As more technology becomes available to students and teachers increase their comfort with technology, flipped classrooms and lessons will be regularly utilized so as to give the teachers time for more hands-on activities in the classrooms. -
Open classroom & school environments
Students will have more flexible spaces where they can go to work and learn. Even at the elementary level they will get to choose projects and acitivities they are interested in and their schedule will be able to accomodate their interests.
