The word propaganda does not have an actual definition, because people always argue about the bias that the meaning may produce.To some people, propaganda may mean a persuasive communication, and for others may mean alters in political decisions.

Propaganda is so old that we can not find an actual date of its begining, but we did found information about it from all the way back as far as ancient Greece.

Why do people decide to do some propaganda. People make this decision when they need to make something public. Especifically when they have a message to share or a product they want to sell.

During WWI the 3 countries involved were giving false information to their people. They had the same strategy of giving out the wrong information so people wouldn't give up and kept fighting until the end. Because they didn't wanted to accept the terrible fact of loosing the war and onlly bring pain to their country instead of hope.

When the British fought the Germans, it took them about five weeks to break in into the German lines but that was actually planned to happen during the first 2 days of battle. But in the Morning Post, the journalists posted that the war was doing good and that the British were winning even thought it wasn't true. But in the news channel they were saying that the British were loosing the battle and there you go. Some conflict because of propaganda.

Censorship was the motor of this war. Because people did not had a certain truth, they fought with heart and patriotism. So the war continued for a long time which was not necessary to kill all those people only to sustain a false statement that would never become true. But after the war ended, everyone was disappointed, communities, journalist, politicians and generals. And finally accepted that they lost the World War I.

The Nazi wanted to create an image of perfect families so their people would believe the brutalities that were occurring during WWI. They made up posters of couples with children, and they were all blond and white with bleu eye. So their ultimate plan was to create an image to make people secure even though their country was facing one of the most terrorific events in the world history.

After the War began between The British and Germany, France joined them in the battlefield. Because they were figthing so hard, to prevent loosing, they needed as many men as possible. In these 3 countries, every man was necessary but also munition. And they decided to make women work in the factories producing ammo and men were fighting. Of course none of that would have been possible without propaganda, because they used the propaganda to recruit new soldiers and factory workers.

After war, a link between propaganda and mass media was formed. Everybody wanted to details and make questions about the war and the involved countries. So the Americans came up with the idea of creating The Comittee on Public Information, which is basically propaganda to distribute millions of red, white and blue posters across the nation. But this organization lead to hatred between Germans to Americans, and it was so strong that high schoolers could not even play orchestras of Beethoben.

The battle between the Nazis and the Jews was so intense that the Nazis even made posters against the Jews. The posters were images of Jew people with a bad looking, long beards, dirty and not trusworthy people.

Propaganda works on the general public from the standpoint of an idea and makes them ripe for the victory of this idea." Which he first advocated the use of propaganda to spread the ideals of National Socialism.

The radio gives us the opportunity to syncronized large amounts of people at the same time and deliver the same information in short time. Which is a whole new experience for those who are trying to communicate to people and delivere a message.

In the message age we need to learn how to identify the messages made to persuade us and identify the messages made to inform us. The difference between those two is that the first one will try to convince us of specific ideas. The second one will give us the alternative to make an opinion on what has been read and gisves us the opportunity to think about certain circumstance.

Over the years, we have learned that propaganda can be used to manipulate people or to benefit them. Sadly but truely, propaganda have been used more to hurt communities than to bring answers, but all we know is that propaganda does work. People can't definately act like robots, but they can be influenced in such ways that they can make how they see things and how they judge by using propaganda in a specific way as a strategy.

The most effective method of propaganda is definately the internet. The internet is a fairly new method that our society have adopted almost as a lifestyle, and of course have become one of the best ways to spread information in seconds to millions of people. And that fact makes the internet the perfect sourse for journalists to apply propaganda.

Sensorship now days, seems to have a major impact, because now we have the amendments and laws that prohibit censorship at some point.
