I think that this event falls under creating economic reform because the workers are trying to get far compensation from big business owners like Andrew Carnegie. -
Meat inspection Act of 1906
In 1906, Workers that worked in factories misbrand meat and the meat was sold as food. The processed food was unchecked and not cleaned thoroughly and got many people sick but some also died. -

The food and drug act main purpose was to ban foreign and interstate traffic in adulterated or mislabeled food and drug products.
