    its a agency that tries to protect the public's health by making sure that everyone is eating right, needles are clean, and that counter drugs are safe.
  • Meat inspection Act

    This act was to prevent people and stores, from selling meat/ poultry products on there own if they are slaughtered, and is under processed unsanitary conditions. This helps the reform, because it makes the food safer for humans to eat and it says that the governement is watching out for the animals and the public health
  • Bureau of mines

    this bureau was created to help disasters that happened at mines. It was also to help miners ensure their safety.
    This helps the reform because yet again the government is looking out for peoples health and wellness.
  • childrens bureau

    this agency helps children with foster care, adoption, and prevention in abuse. This helps with the reform because it shows the government cares about the children.
  • Revenue act of 1913

    this act reimposed the federal income tax after the 16th amendment and lowered the basic tariff rates up.
    I dont really understand this act.
  • 16th amendment

    this act allowed congress to levy an income tax w/o having to base it on other states and what there laws were.
    This helped the reform because it gave the congress people to have some major stuff that they wouldnt get.

    This bureau was created to ensure/ protect the at the time 35 state parks and the rest to come. And also all the mountains.
    This helps the reform because the government is not only helping the people, health, but now, there adding on nature.
  • keating owens child labor act

    an act created to prevent child labor, and other horrible purposes.
    This helps because they are just doing the right thing. Child labor shouldn't have ever been invented.
