    Baby has rapid weight gain. Mother must eat alot.

    Brain, Lungs, & Liver developing. Brain will double in size. Baby is now full term.

    Eyes begin to open & baby can kick. Maybe try playing with the baby.
  • 5-6 Weeks

    Embryo is growing rapidly, brain starts to form. Would be best to eat lots of food for baby

  • 7-8 Weeks

    Embryo has small tail, baby is constantly moving. Lips/Nose form.

    Lungs still developing.

    Baby is small ball called a Blastocyst.

  • 10 Weeks

    Organs & Structures are in place and ready to form.

    Brain continues to grow, Kidneys can excrete urine.

    Sex more apparent, baby can swallow.

  • 20-21 Weeks

    Baby can suck thumb, sleep, & breath. All organs have formed.

    Lung development.

  • 18-19 Weeks

    Baby can hear. Digestive system is working. Maybe playing music or talking to the baby would be beneficial.

  • 36-37 Weeks

    Takes up most of amniotic sac & starts to turn.
