    Producing pregnancy hormones, sore and tender breasts.

  • Week 5

    Heart rate increases and ultrasounds show baby

  • Week 6

    Ears, mouth, and nose are seen in ultrasound and baby makes its first movement

  • Week 7

    Size of a blueberry and liver begins to produce red blood cells.

  • Week 8

    Embryo is ready to start the fetal stage and weighs about 3 grams

  • Week 9

    Fetal stage has begun and hands, arms, and legs are formed

  • Week 10

    Size of a lime and vital organs start to function.

    Fingers and toes are completely formed and bones are hardening
