  • Sugar act

    Sugar act
    Britian basically tax's sugar, because of how rich and tastful it is. Colonist are angered by this and the main goal was to decrease Colonial smuggling.
  • Quarting act

    Quarting act
    Requires americans (colonist) to allow Britsh troops to "quarter" in there homes, such as stay and sleep there for as long as they want. This would make the colonist mad, because they gave up there resources to them.
  • Stamp act

    Is a direct tax impose by the britsh parliment. They were to tax all money printed materials on stamped paper. They were legal documents, Magazines, and newspapers. The tax was to help pay for troops stationed in North America
  • Boston Massacre

    This is where the colonist and the british fought in there first ever battle. But the britsh only managed to kill 5 people without the whole battle. The britsh were stationed in boston since 1768, where they were to control concerned crowds and roits and support colonist officials.
  • Boston Tea Party

    This was a direct ation by the colonist. They dressed up as indian type people and went and dumped a million dollars worth of tea into boston harbor. The british had no idea who it was because of there disugise.

    The battles of lexington and concord were the first miltary engagements of the American Revolutionary War. They were fought on April 19 1775.
