1923 Aeromarine 75

This is one of the very first fighter planes that the USA had created and it was called the Aeromarine 75.THe reason it was called the Aeromarine 75 is because it could float on the water.

1942 Bell P-59 Airacomet

The first Jet was built on October 1st, 1942 and was only built 66 times.

1946

1946 North American P-51H Mustang

This was the best Jet for the military after World War 2 had just ended.

1952 F-84F Thunderstreak

This was the the beginning of the 1950's and the USA had just built there best plane of the early 1950's called the F-84F Thunderstreak

1958 F-8E Crusader

This was the best fighter jet for the4 USA in 1958 and it was the fastest reaching 1,307 mph.

1964 A-5 Vigilante

This is one of the fastest reaching speeds of up to 1611 mph.

1966 Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird

This is the fastest fighter jet that was invented in the 1900's reaching speeds of up to 2,200 mph.

1967 F-4 Phantom II

This was the best fighter jet for the USA at the end of the 1960's that gave them a good start into the 1970s

1973 F-5A Freedom Fighter

This was just another great and very fast fighter jet. THis jet reached speeds of 1,258 mph

1976 F-16 Falcon

This was one of the F-type models that the USA made and this is almost like the F-22 But this was built a lot earlier.

1981 EF-111 Raven

This was one of the greatest fighter jets from 1980-1190 and the EF-111 Raven was very fast and enhanced at what it did.

1985 B-1B Lancer

This was the one of last best jets that the USA had created in the 1980's and it was called the B-1B Lancer.

The YF-23 Black Widow II was the best 1990 USA fighter jet made bc of how quick it was it could escape targets.

The B-2A Spirit was a very stealth bomber.

The F/A-22 Raptor is one of the best fighter jets known as of right now also bc of its speed and ability to be able to track down objects/

2006 V-22 Osprey

This was a plane that was almost considered a helicopter because of what it looked like but this was a special jet because it was able to cary bombs and heavy weaponry.
