Philosophy 202

  • Bertrand Russell May 18, 1872- February 2, 1970

Bertrand Russell worked with Alfred North Whitehead to write the three volumes of Principia Mathematica (1910-1913). This was an attempt to prove that Mathematics was pure logic using mathematics and philosophy. He later said that his mind never fully recovered from the work on Principia Mathematica, and he never worked on logic problems with the same intensity again.
