    Created through the Judiciary Act of 1789 DOJ is the U.S. federal executive department responsible for the enforcement of the law and administration of justice.
  • Food and Drug Administration

    Food and Drug Administration
    Theodore Roosevelt signed the Food and Drug Act, AKA the "Wiley Act" in 1906. The FDA is responsible for protecting and promoting public health through the regulation and supervision of food safety, tobacco products, dietary supplements, prescription and over-the-counter pharmaceutical drugs (medications), vaccines, biopharmaceuticals, blood transfusions, medical devices, electromagnetic radiation,cosmetics, emitting devices (ERED), and veterinary products.

    Created through Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and in 1961 President John F. Kennedy signed Executive Order 10925, which required government contractors to "take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed and that employees are treated during employment without regard to their race, creed, color, or national origin." (EEOC) is a federal law enforcement agency, that enforces laws against workplace discrimination.
