Piper
Piper when she is first sent to jail has a hopeful and wearing the only orange jumpsuit with a lot of the scenes seeing as she is a new resident to Lynchfield. She is almost like the light in the jail when she first arrives because everyone does not have her positive attitude and they are all wearing grey jumpsuits. -
Red
Red's character before she went to jail was a nicer version than she is shown later in the show, she let people take advantage of her, never held back what she thought was right, but had less confidence. -
Piper
Piper before she goes to jail, He hair is longer, she looks happy/lively, she is wearing light colors and has her hair wavy. She is more free spirited and doesn't see any consequences for her actions. -
Red
When Red is first introduced into the series through Piper, she comes off as very nice and informative. Her hair is what represents Red the most, and in the beginning her hair is tamed and combed back and a very deep red color that represents her love. -
Piper
Once Piper gets acclemated to the prison life and her personality and charater change dramatically. She becomes more skeptical of other people, more hard-headed, and better at controlling her overemotional state she began the season with. -
Red
During the middle of the season Red gets hit from behind the head by an enemy and is hospital bound. Her hair at this point in the season is dull and unkept representing her state mentally and physically during the season. -
Piper
Piper towards the end of the series is switched over to another prison for her court case and is put in another orange suit due to the new location. Her attitude completely changed from the last time she was in the orange jumpsuit. And this transition really showed me how much tougher she became through the season. -
Red
Red gets her hair redyed after her time in the hospital and decided to groom her hair much crazier this time. Her hair is a more firery red than last time and it bigger in size. This is showing how much stronger Red has become since the beginning of the season and how its represented through her hair.
