    On September 1st, 1939, World War II officialt started.

  • Mrs.Hirsch dissapears

    Mrs.Hirsch randomly dissapears and her shop was closed by the German soldiers.
  • Ellens family leaves their home to escape being captured while Ellen stays with the Johansons.

    While Ellen is staying with the Johansons, her family is evacuading to avoid getting captured.
  • German soldiers visit the Johansons.

    The German Soldiers barge into the Johansons home to see if any jews would be hiding with them.
  • Annemarie breaks Ellens neckalace off to save Annemaries family and Ellen.

    Annemarie breaks Ellens neckalace off to save Annemaries family and Ellen.
    Annemarie is forced to rip Ellens neckalce off to save them from being captured.
  • The visit to Uncle Henriks House

    Annemarie and Ellen visit Uncle Henrik so the plan to get Jews out of the city can commence.

    Aunt Birte (A made up woman) "died." She "died" so that all the Jews can meet at the "funeral" so the plan could commence.

    On January 8th, 1943, Great AUnt Birte's "Funeral" commences.
  • The Jews depart to the boat that would take them to Sweden

    The Jews get on Uncle Henrik's boat to travel to sweden.
  • The package lost and returned

    One of the Jews had forgotten to bring the all important package to the boat with them that would make dogs loose their scent on jews. Annemarie bravely took the package to the boat before it was to late.
  • Over 7000 jews make it to Sweden

    Over 7000 jews make it to Sweden
    By January 10th, 1943, over thousands of jews made it by boat to Sweden.
  • Thousands of Jews died in concentration camps.

    Thousands of Jews died in concentration camps.
    Thousands of jews were enslaved in concentration camps, then they died.
