Christopher Columbus found America when we was really looking for India. This event is important to America because if he hadn’t of found America, we wouldn’t live here today. -
Slavery is Introduced in Virginia
This affected America because of discrimination and even after slavery ended, discrimination still took place all over America. A Dutch Colonist sold the slaves for money to a man in Jamestown and everyone else started to demanding them too. -
Law Requires Public Schooling
People were uneducated and didnt know how to do things so they wanted them to learn how. This affects us today, because with that law, we wouldn’t be in public school right now getting an education. -

This events affects us today, by us having our freedom back then, it was used as a form of propaganda (a lot of people didnt have freedom). This is important to us today today because we now have our independence from England. The British were upset because we moved over to america and they tried to get us back under their control. -

This affects us today by leading a key role in America's Independence. This happened because the coloniest were upset with the British for raising the taxes on tea, glass, and etc, so they got even. -

This affects us today because if this didn’t happen we wouldn’t know what animals were here, what rivers, plants etc. They went on this expedition to discory what was in America at the time, to see if they could find anything new and interesting. -
