    15 Apr 1452 April 15th, 1452. Leonardo da Vinci was born near the Tuscan town of Vinci, The illegitimate son of a local lawyer and a peasant girl. Leonardo lived with his Father shortly after he was born.

    Leonardo is sent to Florence to work as an apprentice

    Januray 1st, 1467. When Leonardo got sent by his father to Florence to work for Andrea del Verrocchio as an apprentice. during his time, Leonardo received training in all artistic genres, He began working as a servant, He grew into turning to drawing the studies of Verrocchio.

    Leonardo is accepted to the painters guild of Florence

    january 1st, 1472. When Leonardo is accepted to the painters guild he meets Michelangelo. At the guild, Leonardo studied more painting and stayed at his masters workshop. The guild progressed Leonardo farther in painting skills.

    Establishment of the Spanish Inquisistion

    January 1st, 1478. Ferdinand and Isabellaof Castile wanted Catholicism in their kingdom but it was under Spanish Monarchy. The goal of the inquisistion was to get Jews, Islam and many more religions convert to Christianity. As a total, 2,000people were burned and another 15,000 by 1490.

    January 1st, 1482. Leonardo was under the Duke's service for 17 years. He completed six paintings for the Duke and he also adviced on Architecture, fortifications, and military matters. Leonardo also adviced in Engineering. During the 17 years he was able to complete "The Last Supper" and "The Virgin on the Rocks".

    January 1st, 1485. The plague was mostly knows as "Bubonic Plague" or "The Black Death". The cause of the plague has been a mystoury, no one knows how it started but the plague came from a bacteria, It spread very quickly. It caused a high fever and was a "sweating sickness". The plague killed 30% to 60% of Europe's population.

    Leonardo starts studying Anatomy

    january 1st, 1489. When Leonardo started drawing the Human Body. At beggining, they had to go secretly and dissect dead human bodies under ground so they wouldnt be found. Leonardo drew possibly the best human body ever drawn. It was vey detailed and had the movements of the body and muscles. Leonardo also drew the very first fetus from a women's rproductive system. It is the first ever known fetus.

    Jews banished from Spain

    January 1st, 1492. Isabella and Ferdinand decided to banish all the Jews out of the Kingdom because they wouldnt convert to Christianity. Many people died trying to reach for safety. The kingdom tried to find many ways to kill the Jews for example spreading rumors about jews having gold in their stomaches. They were stabbed to death. Many Jews left Spain or decided to convert to Christianity to avoid death.

    January 1st, 1495. Savonarola was an Italian monk who hated the world and wanted a change. He took power of the city and made many changes. He added strict laws, banned gambling, dancing, and many more dissapear from the City. People were terrified from the monk and his attacks to the Pope. As a conclusion, Savonarola was burned by the people.

    January 1st, 1498. When Leonardo da Vinci decorated the walls and ceilings of "Sala delle Asse" with the abstract paint and the trees. The walls and ceilings were decorated for the Duke. The design was very known due to the architectural Trees and Moorish Knots.

    January 1st, 1499. When Louis XII, a French Leader worked with Spain and Venice to capture Milan. Louis used the town Asti as a base to begin attacking Milan. He was able to conquer Milan many times and has changed many things. The war was a result of the Italian war that has been going on for many years. Many were injured in Milan and died.

    January 1st, 1505. Leonardo da Vinci's most famous painting of all time. The most secretive fact about the Mona Lisa is that the lady in the painting is unknown. Also another great mystoury is that the smile was never known to be a sad one or a happy one. It is known that Leonardo painted himself as a female in the painting. The painting is held in France at a Muesum.

It is known as them saying "why, is it me Lord Jesus?" or "who did it?" or "was it i?". Leonardo took the fame from the painting because of its features of the students and Jesus in the painting.

    January 1st, 1513. leonardo moves back to Italy after his long journey. He now drew all of the most famous paintings. Leronardo earned respect from religious authorities and other artists. At this time he decided to have some free study time and to live his last couple of his years.

    May 2nd, 1519. Leonardo da Vinci's death is a mystoury to everyone. Scientists think it was a natural cause and its the oldening of age. He died a the age of 67, and died at Clos Lucé, France. He is buried at Château d'Amboise in France where he shall rest in peace.
