The Anschluss
The anschluss was the merging of Germany and Austria. Hitler wanted to reunite German speaking people in Austria. His plan was to unify everyone under one empire, eventually bringing more food supplies, soilders, and defenses. Hitler also planned to create "Third Reich". In fear of Hitler Austrian chancellor followed Hitlers orders because Hitler threatened to invade Austra.The Austrian Chancellor attempted to make the unification a vote, however Hitler sent troops making Austrians accept it. -
The Munich Conference
The Munich Conference was called by Hitler who met with representatives of the head state from France, United Kingdom, and Italy. It was an agreeement that surrendered the German speaking Sudetenland region of Czechoslovakia to Germany. Hitlers motive was to make sure that Germany had land, and that Germany would be powerful. -
Danzig and the Polish Corridor
The Polish corridor was the small strip of land given to Poland after its independence. It separated the German province of East Prussia from the rest of Germany.Therefore Hitler wanted to seize it so that all part of his empire would be connected. -
The Nazi Soviet Pact
The Germany Nazis and the Soviet Union passed the Nazi Soviet Pact which guaranteed that the two countries would not attack each other.Germany had protected itself from having to fight a two-front war in the soon-to-begin World War II. Hitler was planning against the possibility of a two front war. -
The War Begins
Hitler invaded Poland and refused to abort his invasion which made Britain and France declared war on Germany.
