    No desire for reading
At this age I was only an infant and don't recall any love for books. My grandparents always read to me but said I was more interested in eating the books.

    Kindergarden/First Grade
Prior to school my parents had me doing trace the letter work books. When school came around I was eager to learn. I would sometimes write letters backwards.
  • Favorite Books

    Favorite Books
I remember group reading books in second grade. We read many of the Junie B Jones books. After the school year ended I remember being so obsessed with them, that my family bought me more. Monkey Business was my favorite.

    Boulder City Library
My great grandmother loved to read and she went to the library every other day. I started to go with her and soon loved to check out books to bring home.

In my 7th grade year the Twilight series got very popular and the first movie came out. My best friend Aimee and I read the entire series and became those dorky die hard fans.
  • Nicholas Sparks

    Nicholas Sparks
By my freshmen year of high school I was intrigued in reading; especially romance novels. I quickly fell in love with all of Nicholas Spark's work. My favorite is still "The Best of Me."
  • Self Help

    Self Help
After many hardships my sophomore year I turned to self help books. I must have read at least a dozen. I even had a self help prompt journal I would fill in every day.
  • College

    College
When I started college I had less time to leisurely read. I began reading textbook after textbook.
  • So hard to read!

    So hard to read!
Now I'm a mother of a sweet 8 month old baby and a student. I have bought books in hopes to read but I never have the time. I miss reading so much and hopefully can have time to do it again in my near future.
