Hadn't read yet. Although during this time I was learning language and this contributed to my reading abilities later in life.
-
It was called PUPPY and I still can't find who the author is. My grandmother used to read it to me.
-
It was called "Who will be my Friend" by Syd Hoffman. I remember starting to sound out words with this book.
-
I learned how to read in 1st grade. I remember being the worst reader in the class and then with practice became the best reader.
-
It just so happened to be a classic "Charlottes Web" by E.B White. We took turns reading the chapters in class to help us understand words and practice reading.
-
I remember they were called The Great Illustrated Classics and included books such as "The Secret Garden" and "Tom Sawyer".
-
The first teen novel I read for a class was "Summer of my German Soldier" by Bette Green.
-
It was "Romeo and Juliet". My love of anything Shakespeare began. Also, it was the start of me enjoying reading different forms of writing besides novels.
-
These novels were mostly read for high school which included "Heart of Darkness", "Tess of the Durbervilles" and "The Great Gatsby" just to name a few.
-
My favorite novel is "The Time Travelers Wife". This is important to me because I remember reading many books but didn't have a favorite.
-
This is important because I now like to read different genres and I like to enjoy different forms of writing. I feel that reading different forms of literature will expand my reading comprehension. I enjoy reading mostly fantasy and science fiction such as "The Lord of The Rings Trilogy".
