I would give this book a 3 out of 5 stars. The story line, to me, was bland, about a girl in a post apocalyptic world, who needs to discover the secrets that the powerful leader of her society is keeping. To me it felt like every other dystopian book that came out in the last year, Hunger Games, or Divergent.

I would rate this 4 out of 5 stars. Chloe King was about a young girl who, in a sense, died after falling out of a lighthouse window. Though the next day he woke up, seemingly without side effect. Until she began to notice her long, claw like, nails, and extreme reflexes, Chloe begins to grow into her cat like ancestry.

I read books that a couple years ago, I would have never thought I would be reading. I really expanded my horizons when it came to the type of books I read. Next year I would like to start reading books with much more serious tones, as by reading books with older themes I can really improve my reading ability.
