This job involved lots of reading to children as a class, in small groups, or individually. I also exposed children to multi-sensory pre-writing skills and letter formation, such as writing letters in shaving foam and rainbow tracing letters. I also took part in weekly video read-alongs and wrote lots of lesson plans.

I currently teach children phonics and reading comprehension skills explicitly. I am also taking courses such as this one with the goal of enhancing my instruction and personal knowledge, which involves reading lots of text book chapters and articles.
