I was born on this day! I guess you can call me a 2000s kid.

One of the first games I ever played as a kid. I really enjoyed seeing the Pokemon in a 3D environment for the first time. Nintendo, 1999, Pokemon Stadium cover, viewed 23 February 2022, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Pokemonstadiumbox.jpg

Fun fact: it's called Animal Crossing: Let's Go To The City in PAL regions! Back when Video Ezy was still a store you could walk into, my family loved to rent video games. My sister and I fell in love with the game and had to buy it later on. Something so simple about decorating your own home virtually and talking to cute animal villagers was so appealing to me. Weird that I got an older game a few years after having the most recent game at the time, huh? Similar praise has to be said to this game as to the previous one I mentioned, although sadder memories are associated with this game. One time, in about 2011 or 2012, someone I was trading online with "bricked" my game and rendered it unplayable. It's a game about hunting monsters. How could you not enjoy it? It's one of the first games my partner and I played together and it introduced me to the world (hah) of Monster Hunter Games. I recently got Rise and have been loving it too! Capcom, 2018, Monster Hunter: World cover art, viewed 23 February 2022, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Monster_Hunter_World_cover_art.jpg

It's a game I always wanted to play as a kid but instead, I had to just watch my sisters play. Now, being able to play it on Steam has given me the proper chance to love the character development and the storyline.
