This first event on my timeline is not a game, but was my very first introduction to Videogames; playing 'Ben 10 Ultimate Alien', 'Pet Pals', and 'Spongebob Squarepants: The Clam Prix'. Pokémon Y was the first Pokémon game I ever played. Later, I went back and played almost all of the previous games along with the new games that released. I absolutely fell in love with Pokémon as a kid and still have collections of cards and books to this day. Having been released in 2012, the game already had a big history and user-base, so my new-to-shooter-games skills didn't compare to the opponents I came across. Brawl Stars is a mobile game that I played casually on my iPhone from 2020 to 2022. The game was released in 2018 and was my first exposure to the game style that I discuss my interest for when I talk about Apex Legends. Brawl stars was fun to me as I liked the consistency of the game whilst aiming to unlock new characters in order to utilise their unique abilities to fit your own gameplay style. Released in 2019 by Respawn Entertainment, and Electronic Arts Inc. My interest Apex Legends lies both in the fun of a battle-royale shooter as well as the characters having their own pre-set abilities. This is one of my favourites as it brings a unique level of player mechanics and strategy to each character despite the consistency of the game's general play mechanics.
