I was able to play Halo 2 on my brothers original xbox. This was the first time I played an online video game. This was my first taste of what online collaboration is like.

This is the release date of the Xbox 360 console. This was a big moment for online gaming as this generation of the xbox emphasized online gaming. The system also had a headset you could buy and use to play online. This console revolutionized online gaming.

Wii Release

This was a big deal in the video game world as people could now physical play video games with their whole bodies and instead of their hands. This allowed for much more local collaboration in terms of playing video games than evert before.

World of Warcraft

I was introduced World of Warcraft by a friend and began playing it. This was my first ever MMORPG (massive multiplayer online role playing game)

Madden 08

This was the first multiplayer sports video game that I played. I'm from Nashville so I'm a big Tennessee titans fan. Vince Young, our quarterback at the time, is on the cover of the video game.

Fifa 12

Fifa 12 is a soccer video game. I played the Ultimate team feature on it, which allowed me to crate a virtual soccer squad by buying players on a virtual market with virtual currency. All my friends at the time played this as well. This was the first video game that where my friends and I would all come over and play together and online together all the time

Bike Race

This was the first IOS game that I saw takeover my high school. Everyone was playing it and it was all online and against each other. Before this, I didn't think iPhone games could do this well at creating a collaborative online video game experience.

Grand Theft Auto 5

This is one of the most recognized video game in the world. This release date of Rockstar's latest game changed what online video games should be like. The amount of detail put into the online aspect of the game allowed for collaboration from many people.

Release of Xbox One

This is the release of the successor to the Xbox 360. At this point, online multiplayer is the main focus for most video games. Console technology is more advanced and allows for more people to play together online. The Xbox One also came with the Kinect which was a tracking bar that allowed people to play video games using a virtual camera.
