They had three objectives; to create a statement of colonial rights, to identify British parliaments violation of those rights, and to provide a plan that would convince Britain to restore those rights.

He defined the advantages America would have if they were free from Britain. He divided America into Loyalist and Patriots.

They had very little supplie, many of the men were sick and were not properly clothed. They began building log cabins. Although it was a tough winter, it made the amry stronger.

    The Battle of TrentonTrenton was held by 1300 Hessians under command of Colonel Johann Gottlieb Rall. Washington guessed that German troops would be celebrating christmas and the morning after surprised them with attack by capturing and killing more than 1000 Hessians.
