    Copernicus/ Helicentric theroy of the Solar System
    In 1543 Copernicus deveolped the helicentric theroy of the solar system. The heicentric theory is when the sun is in the center of gthe universe or solar system.
  • Galileo Telescope

    Galileo Telescope
    Gailieo was the first to use the telescope to observe the sky. Also on August 25th, 1609 he demonstrated his first telescope to Venetian lawmakers.
  • Discovery of Jupiter's four largest satelites

    In 1610 Galileio discovered Jupiter"s four largest satelites. He determined that these four satelites were orbiting the planet. Then he made additional observations of them in 1620.
  • Issac Newton/ Demonstration of Relfecting Telescope

    In 1671 the Royal Society asked for a demonstration of his relfecting telescope. Their interest engouraged him to publish his notes on Colour.
