Eye opening experience
Technology Based Common Core Lesson Since the beginning of this module I have come to realize all the factors that take place in a proper technology driven lesson. I am planning to investigate how can I improve my practice, by learning how to use some new tools (Google docs, VoiceThread, Timetoast) so I can model them with my students in my lessons. -
Research
In order to enhance my practice, I need to revise several essential aspects I was not aware of, such as the NETS. I know now that there are some standards that specify the things I need to do and the things my students are supposed to accomplish. -
Reset the approach
I need to analyze what I need to implement in order to make the most of technology when teaching my students, so they can not only learn more about the subject matter, but so they can also become the citizens the world requires. I will try to give away some control in my lessons, allowing my students to
create meaningful digital material that will hopefully generate a more meaningful learning experience. -
Virtual education
What is a VoiceThread? I intend to make use of the tool VoiceThread with my students at school, since I will be in the US for a month, I think this is the perfect chance to keep working with them. I will give them a tutorial on how to use it and I will also have some monitors in the classes that will help the students that may have doubts. I hope this is a good way not to lose track of the lessons and also to keep them interested. -
Mastering the Flipping technique
The Flipped classroom This is one of the terms that called my attention the most. I think it is very interesting to switch the paradigms and basically adapt to the new teaching trends. I will try to apply it in my lessons for the 2nd academic semester. -
Becoming a better teacher.
7 habits of highly effective teachers who use technology. From now on I need to continue researching and getting to know about the available tools that basically improve all the aspects of learning and teaching. I am planning on enrolling a technology class, so I can master these tools. -
Check up
On going evaluation is necessary, but processes need time to have effects, Having said this, I think by the end of next year's first term, I would be in condition to notice if the goals I have set have been crarried out.
