A large apartment of a human family Pompadays , in New York City. -
Exposition Background 1
Marvins family has a damp corner beneath the kitchen sink which a family of ants lives. Marvin has a friend named James from the family of ants. -
Exposistion Characters 3
James lives with his mother , step father , and baby brother.
Marvin lives with his mom and dad. They are on Christmas Break. -
Rising Action 1 (CONFLICT)
James gets a pen and ink set for his birthday. He leaves it out over night but his friend ant did not give him anything for his birthday so using his friends ink set he drew a amazing picture. -
Rising Action 2
Marvin's father is telling everyone about the picture including a friend that knows a manger at a art museum. Marvin and James dont know how to tell them that marvin didnt draw it. -
Rising Action 3
Before Marvin went to the art museum he puts James in his pocket to take with him. The family went to vist the art musuem. Marvin was getting asked questions he doesnt even know. -
Rising action 4
James fell out of Marvins pocket while at the art museum. Marvin leaves with out James. -
Rising Action 5
Christina is the manger at the museum. She wants Marvin to draw the painting again. But , he had a hard time because he didnt draw it from the first time his dad saw it. -
Rising Action 6
James had not talked to Marvin in s few days. Marvin was always in his room practicing drawing the painting. Before you knew it he had balled up papers all over his room. -
Climax/turning point
James and Marvin decided to switch the drawing the day the picture was to be shown. So Marvin turns attention on him while pretending to be hurt. -
Falling Action 1
Marvins dad thought he broke his foot. Then Christina noticed how it was a diffent drawing in the gallery the FBI got involed. -
Falling action 2
While the FBI was involed they maybe thought if it was the right one before the awful moment happend someone close wanted the painting for lots of money. -
Falling Action 4
James went inside a bag that the man was carring thats how they got inside the apartment. -
Falling Action 3
The kids caught on. They started to break into houses trying to help find the painting in houses they thought it would be in. They went to the house where Marvins dad friend lived. Knowing they replaced the drawing. -
Resolution 1
The FBI are keeping in contact. Everyone is tired of waiting. They do whatever they could to find the drawing. James agreed to try make a picture just like the one he had did before. -
Resolution 2
They took the pciture to put in the gallery again. Christina agreed to put the drawing in a art musuem. -
Resolution 3
They displayed the drawing at the Musuem Of Arts in New York City. -
Resolution 4
Every one was happy and James and his family stayed in the damp coner in the kitchen sink still. While Marvin and his family lived a happy life. Marvin and James were good friends.
