    This was developed by the British in the second world war. It was used as a fighter plane and had one seat. It was designed by Sopwith Aviation Company, Herbet Smith. It was mainly used by the RAF and there were a total of 5,490 of these built.

    The Hawker Hurricane Has Been Created!
    The plane was essential in World War Two. It was Essential because it had the needed speed over the Germand Luftwaffe Planes which often guarded the bombers, thus this meant less bombs were dropped. Its top speed was over 300 mph. It was created by Sydney Camm!

    The  Hawker Seahawk Has Been Created!
    This was created a few years after World War Two had finished. It was one of the first planes to use the new jet engine - made by Rolls Roce- which allowed it to reach a top speed of 600 mph. This was used by the Royal Navy to protect Navy ships.
